About
Paddle Calendar is a centralized calendar created to help paddlers discover whitewater kayaking events across the United States.
From grassroots river festivals and local clinics to national competitions and safety courses, our goal is simple: Make it easier for the whitewater community to find events, plan trips, and spend more time on the water.
Whitewater kayaking is deeply regional and seasonal. and community-driven. Events are often spread across different websites, social media posts, and word-of-mouth channels. Paddlewhere brings those events together in one place- searchable, up-to-date, and easy to navigate.
Built for the Whitewater Community
Paddle Places focuses exclusively on whitewater kayaking. We highlight events such as:
- Freestyle Competitions and Jams
- Creeking and downriver races
- Slalom events
- Skill-building clinics and coaching
- Festivals and river gatherings
- Swiftwater safety and rescue courses
- Youth and adaptive events
All events are submitted by organizers or community members and reviewed before being published.
Our Role
Paddle Calendar does not host or manage events. We act as a curated director, connecting paddlers with organizers and official registration sources.
Event details, schedule, and requirements are the responsibility of the event organizer. We encourage users to always verify information through the event’s official website or by contacting the event.
Community-Powered
This platform grows through community involvement. Race directors, clubs, coaches, nonprofits, and paddlers are encouraged to submit events to keep the calendar accurate and complete.
If you’re hosting a whitewater kayaking event, we invite you to submit it and help strengthen the broader paddling community.
