Mass start.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse\nThe race will start at Anglers Beach. Typically\, racers navigate up the main flow of the river and through Mather Gorge. Example finish lines include: (a) in the river-left eddy (“Rocky Cove”) below Rocky Island; (b) at S-Turn near the Fishladder outflow; (c) Fisherman’s Eddy; (d) return to Anglers Beach. DESCRIPTION:Twice a month on alternating Wednesdays we will be hosting a whitewater kayak roll class here in the competition pool of the Jackson County Recreation Center. Classes will be an hour long from 6pm to 7 and instructed by Carly Thomas\, a certified kayaking instructor. Whether you’re a seasoned paddler looking for some warm water playboating\, or a new paddler looking for instruction on building a bombproof roll\, we hope to see you there!\nPrice is $15 per person. \nThis is a BYOB class: Bring your own boat (and gear). All boats must be hosed off and clean before entering the pool. We have a hose and some brushes on the back patio for this purpose. Dirty boats will be asked to leave. Feel free to come in early to get ready for the class so you can make the most of your time.
